About this image
This image taken at Mooloolaba on the Qld Sunshine Coast is an example of an extreme HDR (high dynamic range). Several photos were taken on a tripod at the same place with different lenses (wide angle for the scenery, telephoto lens for the moon) 2-3 hours apart and processed using Photomatix Pro HDR software.
My Work
I am a retired Scientist who has worked in computer management and networking. My wife Pamela and I did a lot of travel in New Zealand 2004-2009 and Australia 2011-2013. We are sharing some of our photos with you here.
Our website
has been developed to satisfy the requirements of a TAFE project during the Corona crisis.
I am indebted to my wife Pamela for her encouragement and help with spotting and locating many wildflowers. In particular, I acknowledge Pam's perseverance in finding where to go to see the Reef photos on a mining road, and the Numbats at Perth Zoo.
"Seashalia" was coined from "Sea-shells-Australia"
